ITEMS awarded contract to develop ITIL v2 to V3 Bridging Course - 3rd August 2007Items have been awarded the contract from ISEB to develop the new ITIL v2 to V3 Bridging course. This course, lasting for one day, will provide people familiar with ITIL v2 to smoothly tansition to ITIL v3, explaining the new concepts identified in ITIL v3 as well as outlining all the major differences between the two versions. It is expected that the course will begin to be run by the 3rd quarter of the year. |

ITEMS awarded contract to write ITIL version 3 book - 24th August 2006Items have been awarded the contract from OGC to write one of the new ITIL version 3 books. With ITIL version 3 being widely anticipated throughout the industry, it is expected that the new books will be out sometime in quarter 2 of 2007. |

BS15000 Passes first ballot for acceptance to ISO20000 - May 2005 |
A recent ballot of the ISO committee has seen BS15000 take it's first positive steps to becoming the international standard for Service Management (ISO20000). If things go according to plan then this is likely to occur during early 2006.
